The Church of the Resurrection is an expression of the ancient Christian Orthodox faith and is addressed to all Christian people and anyone who wants to follow the early Christian and the true orthodox way. Construction on the now Cathedral Church of the Resurrection began in 1890, when it was built to be the home of Berkeley Christian Church, and was completed and dedicated in the early 19th century.

HOLY RELICS

Available for veneration on specific days:

1. An authentic relic from the True-Holy Cross of Christ. It is a fragment from the one preserved in Rome at the Catholic Basilica       of Santa Croce, given to the Orthodox Church in the 18th century in the name of Pope Clement XIII.

2. Relic of St. Gregory the Great, Pope from 590-604.

3. Relic of St. Apollinaris, early follower of the Apostle Peter. 

4. A fragment from the stone that closed the tomb of Jesus.

FOOD BANK: Food Bank is available for people in need.

Bible lessons are available in small groups.
